Starting by opening a core. In a recession something that cost like keeping PIC architecture for your and limit development to some environment make some product to switch to open platform to maintain their product to a lower price. The core is still unknown , but from brand like expert using Aufero and seeing it in many technical exposed, Aufero is recently reporting using S2 Expressif core, as some DIY  engraver tools using simply a Arduino Nano like infrastructure, with simple 328p MCU processor.

Coming next image of the C3 itself bought during October it's aliexpress favorite and are available around 3 or 4 Canadian dollar only... And it can be a core of a drill, engravement, laser cutter, and about the price of the widget, WAINLUX K6, 206$ not much .
