My nightmare continue, with my last item from Intel Xeon collection, I do admit to afford.

 To find the truth, We do have to afford a look into this !

 

Here the last member of my collection. I haven't spend 2000$ to buy both but back in 2015. It's a mid point in affordability and cross-line between price and humanly responsible to afford for a little budget. Ultimately it also prove Arduino world of compiling ESP32, SAMD51 and deep Giga version of Arduino was not even possible to humanly get an answer on basic computer equipped from intel i3/i5 recent i7 apparently topped at 800$CA in 2015. I do say even in my hand it does not breath to get a solution out of it. But speaking what make so weird to design x79 chipset to afford running LGA2011 CPU like i7 in trend of 5xxx will be possible if I see on the retail market one available to do so in a low price offer, but settle here as collection clearly prove caret disposition between LGA2011 and LGA2011-3 does not fit as pressing hard to make it work is just "DUMB" trial, and possibly respond for pushing a wrong processor into a board, will produce surprisingly phenomenon see on the internet like spark on the back. No everything is clear and every thing as a sticker like the date of it's exit, a Q.C (Quality Control) pass sticker on the board, the power supply. Where remain the problems of not operating. Once I will put my next acquisition an E5 1620-v3 operating at 3.5Ghz it's still an hot rod for personal purposes. Consummate 140 watts for all the v3 version of the generation 11th for Xeon E5 in V3, 1620, 1630, 1650, 1660 does all spend 140 watts in consumption and might be the big why, my e5 2630v4, e5 2680v4 does not light up, something between processor and the supply refuse to turn on the engine. The Xeon family e5 v4 for modeled number 26xx start apparently at 120 watts and not 140 watts, which trigger a question. Does the board refuse to see it properly or it require a bare drive of the strength of Terra-Byte in 3.5 inch. 

 

 Mine buy in 2015 during ends of Future Shop, bringing the Tera Byte (1TB) at 179$CA, where today some N.V.M.E.. (20 times smaller, really 200 times in weight) and cheaper in consumption might feel invisible in this consummation, being behind an phase booster it power-up and probably consummate the third by not drawn directly power from a plug. So my Western Digital Blue disk at 1.0 Tb might bring a 500 milli-Ampere disk might wake out my both X99D3 and a Soho X99P4 which I am not even sure to know which chipset they are really. Oh yes, x99 is a series starting with c612 the last one, H87, H81, Q87 and even c61 before having a c612, so beware of those telling they are shipping randomly a chipset should be strongly surveyed.

Sooner or later something will work. Officially not having an good DDR4 board for having a refund for delivery problems, I expect owing an Titanium D4 which are using latest c612 chipset of the x99 series and possibly an Huananzhi CD4, they are valuable since I do have to pay more than 100$ the board to make a reality out of this. In fact some new seller did never touch the price and offering the Ti D4 Plus version was around 394$CA in the last 2 years they had also drowning since Intel announced the end of the support family for lga2011-3 for Xeon 12th generation for E5 v4 in April 2025, so virtually few to spare in Xeon if they are all bad with all those third law to make them work is there one telling you to have to put a pole in the engine and wait a lighting to fall on to push you in time and effort to do it ? 

I believe there is a generation around 2010 to 2015 that virtually own the money to buy all this and virtually snatch out their own hair to not having something working. And dare about gamer that bough things for playing and put back in the roll of the blind retail-market of this time because, they finally bought them.

2. One E5-1620v3 with the heavy weighted hard-drive.
3. Nightmare is not over you haven't use another video card and you haven't buy an intel i7 lga2011-3.

Bunny around this summer.

 Just around the corner I do found a rabbit bunny around. Up to my tour around in bicycle, I end it around 21 o'clock and did not found one but four of them at this size, all babies. But not my picture proof camera to see them, only the first one before I left doing end of days exercises...

 

  

The second one left onto the little school street, while this one remain here. I have flatter it and it's so soften, but week before a bigger rabbit or jackrabbit just jump inside the hop tree bin and probably all four bunny went out escaping the hop box. Everyone had story with bunny.

And some may say it was test about 2 years ago, remove the battery and die in your hand because will automatically erase itself before the board is getting the date and boot it's an old bios function that do that. 

 

Who is lying ?

I am believing to be those who re-working the definition of the item to make it sell able. They had re-working the definition by makig it simpler and sometimes touch important feature to be impelled inside the board. Example os dual-channel of the memory. Available since DDR2, the channeling take 2 DIMMs to make 1 DIMM from at double the speed. But telling 2 times 1033 Mhz 8 Gb DDR3 Dimm will form equivalent of an 8 Gb Dimm running at 2133Mhz but does not mean the DDR3 of the motherboard can accept one DDR3 at 2133Mhz. Without bios update it's impossible. In Range of DDR3 entering into 2 zones the low or normal range from 800 Mhz to 1333 Mhz and the Super Range starting at 1666 Mhz make it not possible to own 2x at 8Gb ddr3 at 1666 to form one 8Gb at 3333 Mhz. It do require an bios update. Either the big error is still to confuse with the High-End DDR3 at 3200 Mhz being simplify and being one channel and not from a dual channel of 1666 forming 3332 Mhz not 3200 Mhz, so some even from paired false information and are not true at all. The point of having many type of board for many specifications make a reason to sell them with so proper specification and those who claim an liberal act to form a more appealing bundle to sell are just wasting actual reality. Many board are not working and bundle without knowing if they are going to work. And make another reason why they are priced down, being non exact and especially being a waste of time just buying. 

It's turn around a fact for buying this xeon working will require to buy the cheap old DDR3 at 1333 and hope they will not work in dual channel at the start, make it possible to run a lower xeon core or even an intel i7, and hence after the Services Pack 3 will be available and offer me to update the bios I will get at the startup a message from my windows 7 will be ready to upgrade to an evolution family xeon core to accept much more than 4 core and run with plenty and fast memory.    

 

 So, it's not buying all DDR3 in pair , but old pair of 1033/1333 Mhz DDR3 and wait until the bios is update. I still have received my CH341A which is ready to be lix to work at 3v3, but I already own ftdi232, an usbasp able to burn old micro-controller to an SPI format. Some also own avrdude configuration to work flashing an high range of SPI flash, got read on doing the same with rp2040 or Arduino original m328, can be cool to own a SD Card will all the bios in test and own button to switch or to burn the bios.

And in the better story I own. Some motherboard was initially only support first serie of xeon on LGA2011-3 and where not all series. So read weird things out of funky definition of motherboard Xeon all series will hold the title "Xeon touriste", and that the same Roxanne arrested by the border patrol to had hand into the market by getting boss blackberry copy of the access to let her make all this problem.
